Michail (Mihalis) Maniatakos is the Director of the Modern Microprocessors Architectures (MoMA) Laboratory. His research interests include privacy-preserving computation, industrial control systems security, and 3D printing security. His research has been sponsored by the US Office of Naval Research, DARPA, the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge, as well as several industrial partners. He has authored several publications in IEEE/ACM transactions and conferences, holds patents on privacy-preserving data processing, and has served on the technical program committee for various IEEE/ACM conferences. He is a senior Member of IEEE.

Robert P. Schumaker
Dr. Schumaker is the George W. and Robert Pirtle Endowed Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Texas at Tyler (UT Tyler) and Director of the Data Analytics Lab within the Soules College of Business. He received his PhD in Management from the University of Arizona in 2007, an MBA degree in Management and International Business from the University of Akron in 2001, and a Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Cincinnati in 1997.
He is also the Associate Editor for DSS, a member of the ACM Distinguished Speakers Program (April 2013 – April 2019), has authored a book on Sports Data Mining, several book chapters, multiple journal articles in DSS, ACM TOIS, CACM and JASIST as well as had his research featured in the Wall Street Journal and numerous other media outlets.
Research Interests
Dr. Schumaker’s overall research interests involve using data science to solve very large and complex business problems. These interests further branch into data mining, machine learning, natural language processing, sentiment analysis, system building and textual analytics. In particular, he focuses on the areas of Textual/Financial prediction, Sports Analytics and Healthcare Informatics.
Teaching
Dr. Schumaker began teaching in Fall of 2000 and has proven to be a very effective teacher with an overall rating of 4.20 on a 5.0 scale (5.0 = Excellent, 4.0 = Above Average, 3.0 = Average, 2.0 = Below Average, 1.0 = Failing) that covers 123 classes to date. He has strong teaching interests in technical subjects such as Business Information Systems, Database, Data Mining, eCommerce, Internet Applications, Networking, Programming, Quantitative Investment, Telecommunications and Security. His teaching philosophy is to make the material relevant to real-world business problems and to teach it in an engaging yet enjoyable manner. Many of Rob’s former students specifically adjust their schedules to take additional classes from him.
Experience
Dr. Schumaker has extensive knowledge of the retail hardware industry, working for 10+ years in a family-owned business. He also has vast experience in the IT field as Interim Director of Technology of the University of Akron’s College of Business and Director of the IS Dept Computer Lab at Iona College.

Indrakshi Ray is a Professor in the Computer Science Department at Colorado State University. She has also been a visiting faculty at Air Force Research Laboratory, Naval Research Laboratory, and at INRIA, Rocquencourt, France. Prior to joining Colorado State, she was a faculty at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. She obtained her Ph.D. from George Mason University under the joint supervision of Professor Sushil Jajodia and Professor Paul Ammann. Her Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering is from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. Her Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Technology is from B.E.College, Kolkata, India.
Dr. Ray's research interests include security and privacy, database systems, e-commerce and formal methods in software engineering. She has published over a hundred technical papers in refereed journals and conference proceedings. She is on the editorial board of Computer Standards and Interfaces. She has been a guest editor of ACM Transactions of Information Systems Security and Journal of Digital Library. She has served in various capacities for journals and conferences. She was the Program Chair of ACM SACMAT 2006, Program Co-Chair for CSS 2013, ICISS 2013, IFIP DBSec 2003, and General Chair of SACMAT 2008. She has served on the program committees of various conferences including ACM SACMAT, DBSec, EDBT, ESORICS, and ICDE. She is a senior member of the IEEE and a senior member of ACM.

Dr. Rami is a Transformation consultant specialized in the transformation and international development of artificial intelligence management, innovation and Future foresight services. One of his inventions is Zayed toolset (zayedtoolset.com). Throughout his career, he has focused on results with a track record of more than 14 years at the national and regional levels in innovative transformation using future management tools. He has achieved great success in artificial intelligence and innovation in several countries such as the UAE, KSA, Jordan and Japan through LIFO and Innovation thinking system. He is the General Manager of International Company, Ambassador of Innovation and Business Accelerators, AI advisor for International Leaders and CEOs’ ,Board of Advisor in different international Organization such as IAIDL .Additionally , International Transformation Advisor to a number of major and international companies . serves as a direct consultant to several UAE enterprises CEOs. In addition, he provided coaching and training for a number of leaders in the national and regional levels.
Dr. Rami is the first Arabic trainer who provides training in Silicon Valley – USA, where Silicon Valley is the world’s largest source of artificial intelligence, he participated as an AI transformation trainer for Oracle and provide different support with TESLA. Working closely on COVID19 Project using Nano-Technology with Vshields as swiss company that created nanotechnology clipper.
